E-news: How are we doing?
Community Living Ontario undertook a survey of our e-news readers to find out if we’re meeting your needs. Here are some key highlights.
§ Over 60% of respondents read all or some of every issue.
§ Community development is the most popular section followed by government relations and communications.
§ Most respondents are satisfied with the e-news being distributed on a monthly schedule.
§ Readers are also interested to learn about upcoming events and to receive more information from local associations.
§ One executive director indicated the usefulness of the e-news in preparing the monthly executive director’s report.
Readers are already sharing the e-news with local association staff, board members, people who have a disability and families. We encourage you to continue to share it! For many staff at local associations, it is a way for them to keep in touch with the pressing issues in the sector and updates in the movement.
All respondents were entered in a draw for a $25 Tim Horton’s gift card. The winner was Heather Topliss, Executive Director of Community Living Kirkland Lake! Congratulations Heather and thanks to everyone who filled out the survey.
Based on the results, and with the revamped Community Living Ontario website, you will notice some changes to the e-news over the next few months. We hope you will continue to share your feedback.
